Covid19: Are you ready to re-open? A webinar for BC & AB co-ops
The Alberta and B.C. Provincial Governments have both recently released their strategies for restarting local economies by outlining phases for businesses to re-open over the coming weeks and months. But are you ready to re-open?
Join Alberta Community and Co-operative Association and BCCA on Thursday, May 14, at 12PM PDT/1 p.m. MDT for COVID-19 – Are you ready to re-open? This interactive webinar will discuss what you need to do to prepare to relaunch your business and continue operations, whether you are a retail outlet, a restaurant, a food processing plant, a credit union, or even an internal office environment.
Joining us are two experts, Josh Bowen and Tracy Blaine, from NAIT’s Centre for Applied Disaster and Emergency Management (CADEM). Josh and Tracy will provide an overview of the recently launched Post-COVID-19 Facility Re-entry Guide, an excellent tool for businesses to assess their readiness and response that can be adapted for a variety of businesses, regardless of type or location.

Engaging Your Members Through Co-operative Education
Now more than ever, co-ops are relying on their members to support them through difficult times. Our upcoming Co-op Meetup is the first in a series on member engagement and focuses on engaging your members through co-operative education.
Join co-hosts Iva Jankovic (BCCA's Co-op Education Co-ordinator) and Seth Leon (Alberta Community and Co-operative Association) as we tackle the question of how to use co-operative education as a tool to engage your co-op members, build a sense of ownership, and invite greater participation in achieving common goals as a co-op.
Bring your questions, experiences, stories, and advice to share! Like our previous session, we will be recording this Meetup and will post it onto Youtube afterwards.
