Our membership categories and dues reflect the different capacities of organizations to strengthen and unite BC’s co-operative sector.

1. Member-Owner

You’re a co-operative or credit union in BC. Member-owners help guide BCCA’s direction by providing input, electing board members, and passing resolutions at AGMs. All Member-Owners receive one delegate for Board of Director voting. To become a member, you purchase a share once.

2. Associate

You’re a service provider allied with the co-operative sector who wants to contribute to the movement by offering your products or services to co-operatives or credit unions. Service providers can be law firms, consultants, accountants etc. This is a non-voting membership.

Annual Dues: $1,030
One-time share purchase: $10

3. Non-Profit Ally

You’re a non-profit allied with the co-operative sector. This category gives you access to member benefits, keeps you connected and helps strengthen the co-operative movement in BC. This is a non-voting membership.

Annual Dues: Starting from $164. Refer to Co-operative Annual Dues.
One-time share purchase: $10

4. Friend

You’re an individual who’s allied with the co-operative sector. Being a Friend keeps you connected with events like Mentorship Hour and helps strengthen the co-operative movement in BC. This is non-voting category.

Annual Dues: $103
