Co-operate Now: Co-op Development Bootcamp is for entrepreneurs or community members interested in building a co-operative enterprise next training session will begin on May 7. For a nominal fee, participants receive valuable information, guidance, support and gain access to the BCCA’s network of co-op leaders Plus, the Co-operate Now: Co-op Development Bootcamp sessions are now VIRTUAL! This means you can take the course from anywhere in BC!
The Upper Columbia Co-op Council; in partnership with Vancity Credit Union, BCCA and with financial support from the Province of British Columbia, brings this popular training program to the Kootenays, and beyond – this Spring and Fall. Launching the online session on May 7th, the 3-week spring intensive will bring your group through the values, mechanics and assessments necessary to build a successful co-op enterprise. Through in-depth instruction and one-on-one coaching by co-operative experts from across the province, participants will learn from peers and established co-operators from around the region as they develop and refine their ownership and business models and see why this part of the province is bursting with co-op activity.
Co-operate Now: Co-op Development Bootcamp Sessions
Classes will be held online, twice a week, from May 7 to 25 and then resume in September. Co-operate Now instructors provide a wide range of expertise and will be joining the program from across BC. Between classes, instructors will be available for one-on-one coaching to guide participants as they transform their co-operative ideas into reality.
