We’re excited to announce that the BCCA has recently been selected as a recipient of the WES Mariam Assefa grant to develop In Our Hands: a new ‘co-opreneurship’ program for newcomers to Canada. The In Our Hands program will be developed in partnership with Alberta Community & Co-operative Association (ACCA), the Women’s Economic Council (WEC) and the Rural Development Network (RDN). In the coming months, we’ll be sharing more information about the program and how interested newcomer co-opreneurs can apply!
