We’ll hear about the BC Food Hub Network’s mandate to increase access to processing facilities across the province in service to more BC food reaching BC markets. From Italy, we will hear how the co-op model has contributed to valore aggiunto, which means better results and distinctivity through processing. This has created food that is celebrated locally and internationally.
This session initiates a conversation that will continue during BC’s first Agriculture and Food Co-op Conference on March 24 and 25 at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops.
