The Board of Directors and staff of the BC Co-op Association are looking forward to sharing exciting updates and connecting with you at our hybrid AGM taking place at the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue (at Simon Fraser University) in downtown Vancouver and online Thursday, June 2 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm.

Several exciting additions have been made to the AGM agenda, and we are pleased to inform our membership that Parliamentary Secretary Nicki Sharma will be giving the opening remarks at the AGM and will be available for a brief Q & A with BCCA members.

Following the AGM, from 2:30 to 3:00 pm, a Collaboration Discussion with The Alberta Community & Co-operative Association (ACCA) Board Chair, Vicki Zinyk will take place. This is a chance for us to update our members on the collaboration, and a chance for you to ask questions and provide feedback.

Following the Collaboration Discussion (from 3:00 – 4:00 pm) Elvy Del Bianco, BCCA’s Director of Co-operative & Government Relations, will walk us through a presentation on BCCA’s GR priorities and facilitate a discussion on Government Relations policy issues brought forward by members.

Lastly, following the presentations, we are inviting AGM attendees to participate in a networking session from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. It’s been a long time since we’ve all met in person, and we want to celebrate our co-operative success. Wine and canapés will be served. Don’t miss this chance to network and learn more about the co-op community!
