INDEPENDENT WEB DEVELOPER
ACCESS is seeking a skilled independent web developer looking to grow their business designing/developing professional websites for our growing membership. The ideal candidate would be a talented designer with extensive WordPress experience. You can work alongside a team and independently in creating, maintaining, and updating websites for our co-operatives and members across various industries. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, and other web services and program applications are essential to succeeding in this role.

The Allied Community and Cooperative Shared Services (ACCESS) is a nonprofit co-operative shared service model. Formed specifically to provide administrative back-office collaboration for civil society organizations across Alberta and British Columbia. ACCESS provides co-aligned shared staff understanding of civil society organizations’ unique needs. It is an innovative, collaborative solution that fills service gaps and increases efficiencies, allowing nonprofits and cooperatives to focus on what they do best.

Scope of the Agreement
The successful candidate will work with the ACCESS team to develop the Allied Community and Cooperative Shared Services website. Following the launch of the shared service’s website, the web developer will work to rebuild the ACCA and BCCA websites under the direction of the Director of Communications and Member Services. Additionally, the selected web developer will work with the ACCESS team on future website development projects for our members secured through the shared services platform.
