Zoë Creighton currently works as an active co-op developer and organizational development consultant in the southeastern part of the province, and is the coordinator of the Nelson-based Upper Columbia Co-op Council, which incorporated in 2009 as a regional chapter of the BCCA. She has immersed herself in the co-op sector since spearheading the development of Kootenay Co-op Radio in 1997, where she worked as the first station manager, and continues to serve as its music director. Zoë has been on the BCCA Board since 2008, is chair of the Governance Committee, and keenly pursues synergies in co-op development and joint member services. When not engaged in co-operative activity, she spends her time in the backcountry – skiing, paddling, hiking and gazing into the wilderness.
