East End Food Co-opThe East End Food Co-operative is Vancouver's only consumer-owned grocery store. We serve the local community. Varied Members interests and concerns link us to groups involved with the politics of food, the environment, other communities, and much more. We are part of a growing wave of economic, political and food consciousness.
Enderby & District Credit UnionThirteen members invested $103 in Enderby and District Credit Union at their organization meeting at City Hall on April 7, 1947.
Thomas a. Switzer, B.C. Association of Credit Unions Organizer attended the meeting and addressed the gathering on the functions of a credit union, illustrating his points by examples of what credit unions had done for people in various places and different walks of life. ~ read more
