Privacy Policy

Protecting the privacy of those who use our website is important to us.

Therefore, the British Columbia Co-operative Association commits to the following privacy principles:

1. Limit Collection

We believe the less information we collect from you, the lower the risk of your privacy being compromised.

We do collect information on website traffic for the purposes of reviewing and improving this website, but this information is not personally identifiable to you.

When we request information from you, it is the minimum required to perform the service you have requested. For example, if you subscribe to email delivery of our newsletters, we only require your email address.

2. Limit Use

If you consent to allow us to use your information, we will use it only for the purposes we describe when you provided it to us.

3. Do Not Sell - Rarely Share

We do not sell your information to anyone.

We do not share your information unless doing so is explicitly authorized by you or required by law.

4. Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent for us to use your information at any time.

Unsubscribing from a newsletter is interpreted as withdrawal of consent, and will remove your contact information from our database.

5. Notice of Policy Changes

If we make any changes to this privacy policy after you have provided us with consent to use your information, we will notify you of the changes at least two-weeks prior to when they come into effect.

We believe two-weeks is sufficient time for you to withdraw your consent if you do not agree with the changes. Consent may also be withdrawn after the changes come into effect.

If you have any questions or concens, please feel free to contact us by phone or email.
